Homemade Fruit Jelly

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (½ C) boiling water
  • 30 ml (2 T) gelatin powder
  • 125 ml (½ C) cool water
  • 750 ml (3 C) Rhodes Cranberry 100% Fruit Juice
  • few drops crimson red food colouring (optional)

Method

  1. Place the boiling water into a heatproof jug.
  2. Add the gelatin and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the cool water.
  4. Add the Rhodes Cranberry 100% Fruit Juice and stir well to mix.
  5. Add a few drops of the food colouring if using until desired colour is reached.
  6. Allow the jelly mixture to cool completely.
  7. Once cool, place in the refrigerator for at least 3 - 4 hours, or overnight, until set.
  8. Serve with custard or ice cream.
