250 ml (1 cup) sugar
250 ml (1 cup) water
375 ml (1½ cups) Rhodes Quality Breakfast Medley 100% Fruit Juice Blend
to serve: sugar cones and fresh fruit
MethodPlace the sugar and the water into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is all dissolved, and then simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer the sugar syrup to a container and refrigerate until well chilled. Mix together the Rhodes Quality Breakfast Medley 100% Fruit Juice Blend and the sugar syrup. Pour the mixture into a chilled ice cream maker and churn until frozen. Freeze until serving.
This sorbet can also be made without a machine. Pour the prepared sorbet mixture into a flat baking dish. Stir and break up any ice crystals every 30 minutes or so until the sorbet is too frozen to stir any longer and then transfer to a storage container, cover and keep frozen until required.
